Bunny Bucks & Donations

For 40+ years, Grandrabbit’s Toy Shoppe has partnered with local schools across the Boulder and Denver Metro areas to offer the popular and successful BUNNY BUCKS FOR SCHOOLS program.

We have averaged a total annual donation of $25,000 to participating private and public schools. This program is dear to our hearts and allows us to fulfill our mission of taking a step closer to making all children, for all times, a global priority.

  • How It Works

    Customers can designate 5% of their pre-taxed purchase to the school of their choice at time of purchase. Bunny Bucks are accrued throughout the year, and in January a gift card is issued to each participating school, which can be redeemed by teachers for toys, books and enrichment materials for their classrooms.

    To sign your school up, fill out the form below and email to boulderstore@grtoys.com or drop it off at any Grandrabbit's location.

    BUNNY BUCKS MEMBERSHIP FORM 

  • Become a Bunny Bucks Coordinator

    • 2-3 hour commitment per month
    • Be a liaison between Grandrabbit’s and your school
    • Post Bunny Bucks posters and notices
    • Make Bunny Bucks Program announcements at PTO meetings
    • Be available to answer questions from parents and teachers
    • In January, alert the teachers that the Bunny Bucks are available to spend at any of our store locations

  • DONATIONS

    In keeping with our philosophy of making all children of all national and ethnic origins, creeds and needs, a global priority, Grandrabbit’s Toy Shoppe will donate toys and gift certificates to local qualifying organizations. Our goal in making donations is to benefit local organizations that serve and enrich the lives of children and be a catalyst for positive social change.

Donations: More Information

The procedure to be considered for donation is as follows:

  • Submit a written request on your local organization’s letterhead and email to donations@grtoys.com.
  • Include the local organization’s involvement with children and how the donation will benefit the organization’s purpose (auction, prize, raffle etc.) A typical donation includes a stuffed animal and a $25.00 gift card.
  • Complete donation request form (found below) and attach to email.

All fields must be complete or application may be delayed or denied.

Please submit request 4 weeks prior to event date to allow processing time.

How will I know if my organization has been approved?

Our Donation Coordinator will contact you when your donation is available, please be sure to include the desired store location for pick up.

We receive many donation requests a year, unfortunately we are unable to approve all submissions. Local organizations that have been approved in the past are not guaranteed approval for the current year. Please Note: Only one donation may be requested per calendar year.
