Phoenix - Red and Gold

An extraordinary bird, the Phoenix has a plumage with shimmering colors, a mixture of red, blue and gold, giving it the appearance of a firebird. It is said that there can only be one at a time and that he will live more than 500 years. Unable to reproduce, when the Phoenix feels its end come, he makes a nest of aromatic branches and incense to which he sets fire. Thus he is consumed in the flames, before being reborn from his ashes.
